Preamble

The Empire acknowledges that thinking is, in principle, permitted.
However, it must be noted that uncontrolled, improper, or independent thinking poses risks — to the thinking individual, to public order, to truth, and to the Imperator.

The following guidelines are issued for your safety.

 

Section I – General Authorization to Think

1. Thinking is not a constitutional right, but an option.
Its use is voluntary and undertaken at one’s own risk.

2. Thinking without a clear trigger is not recommended.
Approved triggers include:

• Speeches by the Imperator
• Official press releases of the Empire
• Authorized summaries explaining what you should currently be thinking

3. Independent thinking outside approved time windows is considered impulsive.

 

Section II – Content Restrictions

4. Thoughts must not contradict the Imperator.
If a thought appears to contradict the Imperator, it is not a thought but a misunderstanding.

5. Thoughts containing more than two layers are considered suspicious.
Complexity is a known gateway to doubt.

6. Irony is permitted only when praising the Imperator.
All other forms are classified as hostile communication.

 

Section III – Fact-Based Guidance

7. Facts must be cross-checked with the official narrative prior to use.

8. Deviating facts are classified as:
a) false
b) manipulated
c) hostile
d) all of the above

9. Statistics may be used exclusively to confirm decisions already made.

 

Section IV – Emotional Safety

10. Emotions must be strictly separated from thinking.
Approved emotions include:

• Pride
• Gratitude
• Relief that the Imperator is thinking on your behalf

Disallowed emotions include:

• Doubt
• Skepticism
• Curiosity

11. Confusion is a clear indicator of improper information intake.

 

Section V – Media Consumption

12. Thinking after consuming non-imperial media is prohibited.
A minimum thinking cooldown period of 48 hours is recommended.

13. Should a thought nevertheless occur, it must be reported immediately.

 

Section VI – Expert Advisory Notice

14. Experts are not an authority.
The Imperator is.

15. Expert knowledge is valid only when quoted by the Imperator.

16. Independent research may result in unintended insight.
The Empire assumes no liability.

 

Section VII – Social Interaction

17. Discussions are considered collective thinking and require prior authorization.

18. Contradiction during conversations should be politely avoided.
Agreement is considered socially acceptable.

19. Questions are permitted, provided they are rhetorical in nature.

 

Section VIII – Historical Thoughts

20. Comparisons with previous rulers are prohibited.
The Imperator is unique and must not be relativized.

21. For administrative reasons, history is periodically reset.

 

Section IX – Self-Monitoring

22. If you notice that you are beginning to think, remain calm.

23. Slowly repeat the imperial core statement:

“The Imperator knows better.”

24. If thoughts persist, contact the Imperial Clarity Office immediately.

 

Section X – Sanctions

25. Unauthorized thinking may result in the following consequences:

• Public clarification of your confusion
• Invitation to an informational meeting
• Permanent monitoring of your facial thought expressions

26. Repeated thinking is considered intent.

 

Section XI – Disclaimer

27. The Empire assumes no responsibility for insights.

28. Any insights that nevertheless occur become the property of the Imperator.

 

Section XII – Final Provisions

29. This appendix is binding.

30. Anyone who fully understands this appendix has misunderstood it.
