Imperial Trade Proclamation: Trumpius Caesarus Maximus Imposes the 10% Restoration Levy

Imperial Fact Sheet from the Palace of Trumpius Caesarus Maximus

Date of Proclamation: February 20, in the Glorious Era of Economic Restoration

DEFENDING THE EMPIRE’S COIN AND COMMERCE

Today, Trumpius Caesarus Maximus, Supreme Guardian of the American Republic and Restorer of Industrial Greatness, proclaimed a temporary Imperial Import Levy to confront what he has declared “fundamental disturbances in the flow of imperial coin.”

Invoking the mighty authority of Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974 (a statute forged in legislative steel), the Emperor decrees:

A 10% ad valorem duty on imported goods for 150 days.

Effective February 24 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time — because even time itself bends to order and discipline.

THE GREAT DEFICIT DRAMA

The Imperial Treasury reports grave imbalances:

  • Goods trade deficit (2024): $1.2 trillion
  • Current account deficit: –4% of GDP
  • Net international investment position: –$26 trillion (89% of GDP)

In imperial terms: vast sums of American coin sail abroad, while foreign powers feast upon domestic markets.

Trumpius proclaims this imbalance not destiny — but distortion.

PURPOSE OF THE LEVY

The Imperial Strategy:

  • Slow the outward torrent of American dollars
  • Incentivize the return of factories, foundries, and silicon citadels
  • Restore balance to the current account
  • Create high-paying American jobs
  • Lower long-term costs through domestic strength

STRATEGIC EXEMPTIONS

Even an Emperor governs with precision. Exemptions include:

  • Critical minerals and energy resources
  • Certain agricultural goods (beef, tomatoes, oranges)
  • Pharmaceuticals and ingredients
  • Select electronics
  • Passenger vehicles and specified automotive parts
  • Aerospace products
  • Informational materials (books), donations, and accompanied baggage

Additionally exempt:

  • Goods subject to existing Section 232 actions
  • USMCA-compliant goods from Canada and Mexico
  • Certain DR-CAFTA textile and apparel goods

CLOSING THE SMALL-PACKAGE GATE

In a companion Executive Order, Trumpius reaffirmed the suspension of duty-free de minimis treatment. Even low-value shipments shall now contribute to the restoration of imperial balance.

CONTINUING THE TARIFF DOCTRINE

Tariffs remain a central instrument in the Emperor’s arsenal:

  • Reshoring production
  • Restructuring global trade
  • Negotiating from strength
  • Protecting national security

Despite judicial murmurs from distant marble halls, the imperial course remains unchanged.

More than half of global GDP now negotiates under terms forged in American resolve.

THE GOLDEN ERA RISES

The Proclamation stands as another pillar in what Trumpius calls “The New American Golden Age” — a restoration of industrial sovereignty, fiscal strength, and economic dominance.

The message is simple:

The coin stays.
The factories return.
The Empire endures.
