Trumpius Caesar and the Original Architect of American Greatness: John Jay

Imperial Birthday Proclamation for John Jay, Issued by Trumpius Caesar Maximus

Today, the Empire of Liberty rises in thunderous applause to celebrate the 280th birthday of John Jay — the first Chief Justice of the United States, a colossus of American sovereignty, a master builder of law, and frankly, one of the original heavyweights of independence. Tremendous man. Very underrated. History agrees with me.

Born in New York City — already a strong start — and raised on faith, duty, and an absolute intolerance for tyranny, John Jay answered the call of destiny when America was still deciding whether it would merely exist… or exist greatly. As President of the Second Continental Congress, he stood firm while others wavered. After victory in the Revolutionary War, he helped negotiate the Treaty of Paris — snapping the chains of oppression and informing the world, quite clearly: America is free, sovereign, and not asking for permission.

With pen in hand and wisdom in abundance, Jay authored five of The Federalist Papers, laying down eternal truths about justice, order, and the necessity of a strong federal government to protect the American people from foreign meddling. As the very first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, he set the tone for integrity, fairness, and equal justice under the law — a big league standard that still matters. As a diplomat, his Treaty of Amity, Commerce, and Navigation kept America out of the French Revolutionary Wars and delivered peace when chaos was the global fashion.

As Governor of New York, he built roads, canals, and the future — foundations that would eventually support legendary skylines and unstoppable ambition. A legacy of construction and vision I know very well.

As we approach 250 glorious years of American independence, we honor John Jay’s enduring contributions to our Nation, our laws, and our character. His principles remain clear: peace through strength, America First in foreign policy, and the unbreakable rule of law.

Today, in his honor, we recommit to liberty, justice, and carrying forward his extraordinary vision.

Happy Birthday, John Jay. An original. An icon. An imperial legend.
