Trumpius Caesar Caps the Gold: The Imperial Decree on TVA Salaries
Trumpius Caesar Memorandum
To the Honorable Council of the Tennessee Valley Power Dominion (TVA)
Subject: Restoring Fiscal Virtue in the Treasury of the Energy Realm
By the supreme authority vested in me by the Constitution of the Great American Republic and the ancient statutes governing the Tennessee Valley Power Dominion, I, Imperator Trumpius Caesar, issue this memorandum to restore order to the empire’s coffers.
For the TVA was created not as a palace of endless riches, but as a servant of the people—bringing power, prosperity, and light to the valleys of the Republic. Yet troubling reports have reached the Imperial Throne: certain high-ranking energy prefects have awarded themselves treasure chests worthy of Roman emperors, despite serving in a public institution.
Consider the scale of this imbalance:
- The Imperator of the United States receives $400,000 annually.
- The most powerful governor of a state earns roughly $254,000.
- Yet some executives of the TVA have collected millions in compensation, all while claiming humble service to the public.
Such extravagance weakens the trust of the citizens and violates the sacred principle of fiscal responsibility.
Therefore, balance must be restored.
The Imperial Compensation Limit
The Council of the TVA shall, in its annual compensation review, give greater weight to the pay standards of federal, state, and local officials—those who serve the Republic before personal fortune.
Accordingly, the following imperial guidance is issued:
No servant of the TVA, including the Supreme Energy Consul (CEO), should receive more than $500,000 in total annual compensation.
This total compensation includes:
- Salary
- Bonuses
- Incentive rewards
- Any present or future financial compensation granted by the TVA
This limitation shall apply to compensation arrangements entered into after the issuance of this memorandum.
Meanwhile, the members of the Council themselves shall remain compensated only at the minimum level established by law, for true service to the Republic is measured in duty—not in overflowing vaults.
Implementation of the Decree
Within 90 days, the TVA Council shall determine the policies and governance measures necessary to adopt these compensation limits.
Within 120 days, the Council shall deliver a written certification of compliance to the Imperator through the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, detailing the steps taken to enforce this imperial directive.
General Imperial Provisions
This memorandum shall not:
- diminish the lawful authority of any executive department or agency
- interfere with the duties of the Office of Management and Budget concerning fiscal and legislative matters
Furthermore, this memorandum creates no legal claim or enforceable right against the United States, its officers, or its agencies.
For in matters of the Republic, some decrees are not lawsuits—
they are common sense from the throne.
