Across cities, villages, and great communities around the globe, the Festival of Colors erupts in spectacular displays of joy—clouds of brilliant powders soaring through the air like the confetti of a triumphant imperial parade. It’s beautiful, truly beautiful. Even the most serious statesman would emerge from this celebration looking like a very enthusiastic painter from ancient Rome.

Holi reminds us that light triumphs over darkness, hope defeats despair, and renewal arrives with the energy of spring itself. These are tremendous values—values that strengthen families, communities, and nations.
