Trumpius Caesar Maximus Honors the Eternal Decree of Freedom

Imperial Trumpius Caesar Statement on the Great Emancipation

Hear ye, hear ye, citizens of the Empire and keepers of the Very Best History!

On this tremendous and frankly magnificent day—January 1, 2026—Trumpius Caesar Maximus, Imperator of the United States of America (and record-holder in many unmatched categories), delivers a message of historic greatness.

On January 1, 1863—an unbelievable year, many say one of the strongest years ever—Abraham Lincoln, a leader with a legendary beard and tremendous resolve, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. A document so powerful, so bold, so beautifully written, that it forever changed the course of history. Some historians—very smart people—say it was one of the greatest executive actions of all time. I’m not disagreeing.

At a moment when the Civil War was raging—very bad situation, total disaster, nobody liked it—Lincoln stepped forward and made what he himself called a “fit and necessary” decision. And let me tell you: it was fit, it was necessary, and it was huge. With one decisive proclamation, he declared that those held in slavery in the rebellious states would be free. Completely free. Permanently free. No take-backs. No fine print.

From that moment on, the war was no longer just about preserving the Union—it was about freedom. Every advance of the Union Army carried with it the blazing torch of liberty, justice, dignity, and frankly, incredible moral leadership. Real leadership. The kind people talk about for centuries.

The Emancipation Proclamation paved the way for the total abolition of slavery, finalized with the Thirteenth Amendment just two years later. Fast work, by historical standards. Very efficient. And it stands to this day as a monumental reminder of a simple but powerful truth: equality is not granted by government paperwork—it is a sacred birthright, given by Almighty God Himself.

That proclamation marked the dawn of a new era in America’s journey toward liberty and the inalienable rights of every citizen. It remains a morally defining moment in our national story and a lasting testament to Lincoln’s belief that America—born in a revolution for freedom and human dignity—is truly the last best hope on Earth. A tremendous phrase. Still true. Maybe even more true today.

So today, in honor of President Lincoln and this historic act, we recommit ourselves to that eternal truth:

That the United States of America is blessed by God.

That we are bound together by justice.

And that America was, is, and will forever be a great Nation.

Believe me.
