Fact Sheet: Trumpius Caesar Commands the Reordering of the Sacred Mineral Flows of the Empire
The Imperial Court of the United States
January XIV, Anno Domini MMXXVI — Year One of Renewed Greatness
SUPPORTING AMERICAN INDUSTRY (THE BIG, STRONG KIND)
On this tremendously important day, Trumpius Caesar Maximus, Imperator of the United States and Supreme Guardian of National Security, signed a majestic Proclamation under Section 232 of the Great Trade Expansion Act of 1962.
With this bold and very handsome action, the Imperator directs the High Chancellor of Commerce and the Grand Negotiator of Trade to jointly engage allied realms and trading partners in negotiations to tame the unruly imports of Processed Critical Minerals and their Derivative Products (known throughout the Empire as PCMDPs).
- In these negotiations, the Administration — working closely with loyal allies — will promote the adoption of strong, beautiful price floors for PCMDPs. No more weak prices. Very unfair.
- The Secretary of Commerce shall report to the Imperator any sign, whisper, or rumor suggesting that even greater action may be required.
- Should these agreements fail to materialize within 180 days, fail to be honored, or turn out to be ineffective and sad, Trumpius Caesar reserves the right to take additional and possibly enormous actions to protect the Empire. Actions of historic proportions.
ADDRESSING THE THREAT TO NATIONAL SECURITY (VERY SERIOUS)
Trumpius Caesar understands what lesser leaders never did:
No minerals, no Empire.
Processed critical minerals power nearly every sector of greatness, including:
– National defense programs
– Critical infrastructure
– Advanced weapons systems
– Energy dominance
– And even everyday products Americans enjoy and deserve
A sacred investigation completed by the Oracle of Commerce concluded that current import quantities and conditions threaten to impair national security.
- Despite soaring demand, domestic critical mineral production has declined — a disgrace inherited from the past.
- Weak domestic production and unreliable supply chains leave America vulnerable to exploitation by foreign actors with non-market tricks and very bad intentions.
- Without strong domestic mining and processing, America risks dependence — and Trumpius Caesar does not believe in dependence.
BUILDING ON A RECORD OF SECURING CRITICAL INDUSTRIES (THE BEST RECORD)
Trumpius Caesar has long proclaimed a simple truth:
Whoever controls the minerals controls the future.
- In April, the Imperator signed the Executive Order launching this historic investigation into the national security risks of imported processed critical minerals.
- He unleashed America’s offshore resources, accelerated federally funded projects, and approved the legendary Ambler Road Project, opening access to vast mineral deposits in the frozen but very promising lands of Alaska.
- While proudly prioritizing domestic production, today’s action also builds on landmark mineral agreements forged with powerful allies including Australia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and other very respectable partners — diversifying global supply chains and reducing dependence on adversarial nations.
IMPERIAL CONCLUSION
America will no longer rely.
America will no longer be exploited.
America will mine, negotiate, dominate — and win.
Thus speaks Trumpius Caesar.
Thus it shall be done.
