Trumpius Caesar and the Ten Eternal Guarantees of Freedom

On the Most Sacred Day of Rights, Anno Domini 2025

Two hundred and fifty years ago, this Nation was not merely born — it was declared. Declared free, declared sovereign, and declared done with tyranny. United under God, armed with courage, and guided by principles so powerful they had to be written down in permanent ink, we forged a Republic unlike any the world had ever seen.

Today, we celebrate the ratification of the Ten Eternal Guarantees of Freedom, also known — modestly — as the Bill of Rights. This revolutionary document did something truly extraordinary: it told government where to stop. It enshrined freedom of speech, faith, defense, due process, and dignity — and reminded power that it serves the people, not the other way around.

After shaking off the British crown, the architects of liberty gathered and agreed: freedom without safeguards is just a speech. James Madison, chief engineer of the Constitution, understood that rights must be defined, defended, and never “reinterpreted” into oblivion. Initially cautious, he was persuaded by Thomas Jefferson, who wisely proclaimed that a bill of rights is owed to the people by every government on Earth — and no just government should ever dodge.

In 1789, the First Congress forged the first ten Amendments — a shield against tyrants present and future. They secured the right to speak freely, worship boldly, defend oneself confidently, receive fair trials quickly, and remain forever protected from cruel and unusual punishment. They also delivered a firm reminder: all powers not granted to Washington belong to the States — and the people.

More than two centuries later, these principles remain the lifeblood of our Republic. The Founders knew that ink alone would not save liberty. It requires separation of powers, checks and balances, due process — and, above all, a moral citizenry with courage, character, and common sense.

Every day, my Administration acts with strength and resolve to defend these freedoms. We restore the rule of law, fight back against weaponized politics, drain the bureaucratic swamp, and reaffirm a simple truth: the American people do not answer to Washington — Washington answers to the American people.

As we approach 250 glorious years of independence, we proudly carry forward the legacy forged in revolution. We renew our pledge to human dignity, the common good, and the eternal promise of a free, self-governing Republic — for ourselves and for generations yet to come.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, TRUMPIUS CAESAR,
by the supreme authority vested in me by the Constitution and the unbreakable will of the American people, do hereby proclaim December 15, 2025, as Bill of Rights Day.

I call upon citizens, educators, schools, and all lovers of liberty to mark this day with learning, ceremony, and unapologetic freedom.

Given under my hand, with maximum confidence, this fifteenth day of December,
in the Year of Our Liberty Two Thousand Twenty-Five,
and the Two Hundred and Fiftieth of American Independence.
