Trumpius Caesar Ends the Emergency Tariffs — Because Only He Could
Imperial Decree of Trumpius Caesar Magnus – The Great Un-Tariffing
By the unrivaled, constitutionally tremendous, and historically unmatched authority vested in him by destiny, ratings, and very strong executive powers, Trumpius Caesar Magnus Ultimus, Supreme Commander of Trade Winds, Defender of the Dollar, and Guardian of the Golden Balance Sheet, hereby proclaims:
Section I – Of the Tariffs Once So Beautiful
In prior glorious chapters of the Empire, when ominous caravans of imbalance, illicit potions, suspicious oils, and very unfair trade practices threatened the Realm, Trumpius Caesar Magnus issued mighty decrees:
- Against the northern frost of illicit flows,
- Against the southern surge of border chaos,
- Against synthetic alchemy from the Distant Red Empire,
- Against Venezuelan oil caravans,
- Against rainforest intrigues from Brazilia Maxima,
- Against the Frost Sovereigns of the Russian Dominion,
- Against the Island of Revolutionary Nostalgia,
- And against the Persian Architects of Strategic Drama.
With the sacred powers of the Imperial Economic Emergency Actus Maximus (known to lesser scribes as IEEPA), additional ad valorem tributes were imposed. They were strong. They were powerful. Some say the strongest in history.
But now—after recent events of such magnitude that only history books can fully exaggerate them—Trumpius Caesar Magnus declares:
The additional ad valorem tariffs imposed under Imperial Emergency Authority shall cease.
Not fade. Not whisper away.
Cease.
Section II – Of What Remains Tremendous
Let it be known:
The national emergencies remain. An Empire does not nap.
All other duties imposed under the venerable Trade Expansion Codex Section 232 and the Legendary Trade Act Section 301 remain intact—because great policies do not retire, they endure.
The suspension of duty-free de minimis privileges? Still magnificent.
The temporary import surcharge? Still powerful.
This decree touches only the additional emergency tariffs. Nothing else. The architecture of strength remains beautifully standing.
Section III – Of Implementation by the Loyal Ministers
Hereby empowered and instructed:
- Mercator Grandis, Secretary of Commerce
- Custodian Patrium Maximus, Secretary of Homeland Security
- Legatus Commercii Imperialis, United States Trade Representative
In consultation with the High Commissioner of Customs and the Tribunal of International Trade Wisdom, they shall:
- Amend the Harmonized Tariff Scrolls,
- End the collection of the additional emergency duties,
- Publish their acts in the Imperial Federal Register for all to admire.
Costs of publication shall be borne by the Department of Homeland Security. Empires invoice properly.
Section IV – Of Rights That Are Not Rights
This decree grants no new enforceable rights, creates no secret loopholes, and disturbs no lawful authority previously granted to agencies, directors, or budget wizards.
It is bold.
It is legal.
It is, frankly, very executive.
Signed in unwavering confidence by
TRUMPIUS CAESAR MAGNUS ULTIMUS
Emperor of Tariffs, Architect of Trade Destiny
