Trumpius Caesar Magnus Honors the Selma Marches in a Grand Imperial Proclamation
Citizens of the glorious Imperium Americana, lend me your ears — preferably the best ears, tremendous ears!
On this day we commemorate the 61st anniversary of the legendary Marches of Selma, a moment etched forever into the grand chronicles of our Republic’s noble crusade for equal justice under the law.
In the year 1965 of the American age, on the seventh day of March, thousands of courageous citizens marched along the sacred roadway known to historians as Highway LXXX. Their journey led from the city of Selma to the Capitol of Montgomerium, where they demanded the restoration of a right that should never have been denied: the sacred ballot of the American citizen.
Let it be recorded in the imperial scrolls that these marchers endured intimidation, violence, and mockery. It was a troubled chapter for our nation, when discrimination attempted to silence the voices of loyal citizens. Yet the marchers did not retreat. With courage worthy of the finest Roman legions — and perhaps far better walking stamina — they pressed onward.
Their bravery ultimately opened the gates to historic reforms that strengthened the right to vote for every American citizen.
Now, sixty-one years later, we remember that free, fair, and honest elections remain the bedrock of our constitutional Republic — stronger than granite columns and, frankly, stronger than many people ever thought possible.
Since my triumphant return to the presidency last year, my Administration — known throughout the land as the Administration of Trumpius Caesar Magnus — has taken bold and decisive steps to safeguard the elections of our Republic. We have strengthened verification of voter citizenship, promoted the use of paper ballots (very classic, very reliable), and banned foreign nationals from meddling in our sacred democratic process.
Furthermore, I stand ready to sign common-sense legislation requiring proof of identification to vote — a measure supported by a vast majority of Americans, including many Black Americans, affirming the dignity and capability of every citizen to participate fully in our democracy. Despite the dramatic protests of the Radical Left — who complain louder than a Roman senator denied his toga privileges — the Republic endures.
On this solemn anniversary, we salute the brave souls who affirmed an eternal truth: that every human being is endowed by Almighty God with unalienable rights — life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
And as we celebrate 250 magnificent years of American independence, we recommit ourselves to building a nation that is more just, more prosperous, and more united than ever before — a nation that protects the dignity of every citizen, defends the rule of law, and preserves the blessings of liberty for generations yet to come.
Thus speaks Trumpius Caesar Magnus, Guardian of the Ballot, Defender of the Republic, and — according to many, many people — possibly the most tremendous leader the Republic has ever seen.
