Ave, glorious citizens of Trumpian America!
From the golden halls of the Domus Alba Maxima, where the marble gleams brighter, the eagles fly straighter, and executive orders are apparently produced faster than hamburgers at an imperial banquet, Imperator Donaldus Trumpius Caesar Magnus Maximus has issued another proclamation of tremendous importance:
The Baby-Pass Express is closed.
Finished.
Kaput.
No more alleged vacation packages featuring sunshine, sightseeing, luxury accommodations, prenatal care, and—somewhere between breakfast and checkout—a newborn American citizen.
According to the imperial Fact Sheet, Trumpius has signed two Executive Orders intended to protect what the palace describes as the meaning and value of American citizenship following the Supreme Court's decision in Trump v. Barbara.
And naturally, when Trumpius Caesar receives one Supreme Court ruling, he does not respond with one decree.
He responds with two.
Because one Executive Order is good.
Two Executive Orders are tremendous.
And three would presumably require another gold-plated desk.
The Imperial Cradle Inspection Begins
The first decree addresses categories of children born to foreign nationals whom the Administration says fall outside birthright citizenship under historically recognized exceptions.
This is where the imperial lawyers enter.
Dozens of them.
Possibly hundreds.
All marching through marble corridors carrying constitutional law books thick enough to stop a charging rhinoceros.
The second decree targets birth tourism, the practice in which foreign visitors allegedly travel to the United States intending to give birth so their children can obtain American citizenship.
In the Trumpian interpretation, citizenship is emphatically not supposed to operate like a hotel loyalty program.
There are no points.
There are no upgrades.
And there is certainly no:
"Stay seven nights, receive one passport complimentary."
The Imperial Department of Extremely Serious Documents has spoken.
Citizenship: The Crown Jewel of Trumpian America
To Trumpius Caesar, American citizenship is not merely a legal status.
It is a treasure.
A jewel.
A sacred bond.
Possibly something that should be stored beneath Fort Knox beside the gold reserves, guarded by bald eagles wearing tiny sunglasses.
The palace insists citizenship carries extraordinary rights, privileges, duties, and responsibilities—and therefore cannot become a commodity obtained through schemes designed to circumvent immigration law.
In other words, the United States may happily sell you a cheeseburger, a cowboy hat, a refrigerator magnet, three gallons of soda, and a foam Statue of Liberty crown.
But citizenship?
Not available in the gift shop.
Trumpius v. Barbaricus
At the center of the imperial drama stands the Supreme Court case Trump v. Barbara, which the Trumpian chroniclers will naturally remember under its more magnificent imperial title:
Trumpius Caesar v. Barbaricus Maximus.
The Administration cites the June 30, 2026 decision as support for continuing to identify circumstances in which historical exceptions to birthright citizenship apply.
Normal lawyers may spend years debating precisely what the decision means.
Trumpian lawyers presumably require only three tools:
A Constitution.
A giant highlighter.
And someone standing nearby repeatedly shouting:
"HISTORIC!"
Operation Baby Vacation Is Over
The second Executive Order turns the imperial attention toward the travel industry.
According to the Administration, birth-tourism operators can help foreign nationals evade immigration rules by disguising the true purpose of their visits.
That means border officials may now confront one of the strangest investigative puzzles in modern tourism.
"Purpose of your visit?"
"Vacation."
"How long are you staying?"
"Two weeks."
"Why do you have seventeen baby blankets, three maternity pillows, a portable crib and the telephone number of an obstetrician?"
"Very enthusiastic sightseeing?"
Somewhere, an immigration officer slowly raises an eyebrow.
Enter Secretarius Statensis and Homelandius Maximus
Trumpius Caesar has delegated presidential authorities to the Secretaries of State and Homeland Security.
In the imperial chronicles, we shall naturally know them as Secretarius Statensis Diplomaticus and Praefectus Homelandius Fortificatus.
Their mission:
Close the loopholes.
Strengthen screening.
Identify suspicious schemes.
And make the Baby-Pass Express about as convenient as crossing the Rubicon while carrying a sofa.
The Administration says this is necessary not only to prevent abuse of immigration law but also to combat organizations that profit from birth-tourism arrangements.
Thus begins Operatio Cunae Claudendae:
Operation Close the Cradle.
Probably not the official Latin.
But definitely more imperial.
The Great Trumpian Immigration Scoreboard
No Trumpian proclamation would be complete without numbers.
Many numbers.
Large numbers.
Numbers marching across the page like Roman legions carrying calculators.
The Administration says that for 15 consecutive months, no illegal aliens have been released into the country.
It also says more than 3 million illegal aliens have been deported, including thousands convicted of violent crimes.
Then comes the imperial citizenship audit.
The Administration says it has launched an aggressive denaturalization effort aimed at people accused of fraudulently obtaining citizenship and has filed claims against 88 individuals it says were ineligible.
Trumpius Caesar apparently does not merely guard the front gate.
He is checking the receipts.
Seventy-Five Countries Enter the Imperial Waiting Room
The Administration also points to tighter visa screening and a pause in visa processing involving 75 countries it considers high-risk.
Somewhere in the Imperial Bureaucratic Fortress, one imagines an enormous lever marked:
VISAS
An official pulls it.
A bell rings.
Seventy-five folders fall from the ceiling.
Everyone immediately requests additional coffee.
This, citizens, is government.
The Great Benefits Purge
The Fact Sheet further claims that taxpayer-funded benefits were terminated for more than 1.4 million illegal aliens who had improperly received public assistance.
The Administration also says illegal aliens were barred from more than a dozen taxpayer-funded healthcare programs.
In Trumpian terminology, this becomes:
Decretum Pecuniae Americanorum Pro Americanis.
Translation:
"The Imperial Treasury is not an all-you-can-eat buffet."
Trumpius Caesar's philosophy could hardly be more straightforward: American taxpayer money, American programs, American citizens first.
The slogan practically engraves itself into marble.
The Citizenship Exam Gets Imperial Homework
Even legal immigrants pursuing citizenship face changes.
The Administration says it reformed the citizenship test to better evaluate applicants' understanding of American history, government, values, and eligibility requirements.
The age of simply knowing that Washington was the first president is apparently over.
Under Trumpius Caesar, prospective citizens should perhaps prepare for questions such as:
"Who crossed the Delaware?"
George Washington.
"Excellent. And was it tremendous?"
Presumably.
"Correct. Welcome to America."
There may or may not be bonus points for knowing the dimensions of Mount Rushmore.
The Imperial Voter Scroll
The Administration also says it is working to remove tens of thousands of illegal aliens from state voter rolls and prevent noncitizens from voting in American elections.
Trumpius therefore turns his attention to another sacred artifact of the Republic:
The ballot box.
Or, in proper imperial language:
The Sacred Electoral Amphora of Liberty.
The Administration's message is simple: voting in federal elections is reserved for American citizens, and officials intend to enforce that restriction.
Somewhere, another government database trembles.
The Baby-Pass Travel Agency Closes Forever
And so the Trumpian Empire enters a new era.
Tourists remain welcome.
Bring your luggage.
Visit Florida.
Photograph the Grand Canyon.
Buy an unnecessarily enormous beverage.
Wear an "I ❤️ NY" shirt while standing in California.
But according to Trumpius Caesar, there will be no immigration-law package deal hidden inside the vacation itinerary.
The imaginary brochure once reading:
"AMERICA MATERNITY DELUXE — 14 Nights, Breakfast & Citizenship Included!"
has been ceremonially fed into the Imperial Shredder.
In its place stands the new Trumpian doctrine:
American citizenship is not merchandise.
It is not a promotional bonus.
It is not a frequent-flyer reward.
And it certainly does not come complimentary with late checkout.
Trumpius Caesar has therefore raised the drawbridge around what he regards as one of America's most precious possessions.
The imperial eagles are circling.
The border gates are being inspected.
The lawyers are sharpening their footnotes.
And somewhere inside the Domus Alba Maxima, a magnificent golden plaque is surely waiting to be installed:
WELCOME TO AMERICA.
SOUVENIRS AVAILABLE IN THE GIFT SHOP.
CITIZENSHIP IS NOT.
