In the Imperium Trumpianum, law enforcement is never merely law enforcement.
It is conquest.
It is destiny.
It is preferably announced with enough gold trim, trumpet blasts, and capital letters to make an ordinary federal task force sound like the invasion of Gaul.
And so Donaldus Trumpius Maximus, Guardian of the Border Gates, Defender of the Sacred Wall, Supreme Keeper of All Doors Facing South, has proclaimed another magnificent imperial victory: the great campaign against Tren de Aragua.
According to the royal scribes of the Casa Alba Imperialis, this dangerous Venezuelan gang was allowed to flourish during the reign of Josephus Bidenius Portarum Apertarum, whose border policy is portrayed in Trumpian mythology less as immigration management and more as an unattended revolving door equipped with a welcome mat.
Then came Trumpius.
The gates slammed shut.
The banners rose.
The federal agencies assembled.
And somewhere, presumably, an eagle screamed in approval.
The Homeland Legions Ride Again
Under Trumpius Caesar, the Homeland Security Task Forces have taken on the aura of something considerably grander.
They are no longer mere interagency teams.
They are Legiones Securitatis Maximae.
Their mission is to identify, pursue, arrest, prosecute, and remove members of transnational criminal organizations embedded in American communities.
A serious mission, certainly.
But serious is never quite enough inside the imperial communications palace.
This operation must naturally be described as the largest campaign of its kind in the history of the Republic, because in Trumpiusland there are only three acceptable sizes:
Huge.
Historic.
And the biggest thing anyone has ever seen.
Federal authorities have arrested well over a thousand alleged or identified Tren de Aragua members since the beginning of the new Trumpian era, while hundreds have faced federal charges.
For ordinary bureaucrats, those are enforcement statistics.
For Trumpius Caesar, they are raw material for a triumphal arch.
Bidenius Returns to the Imperial Stage
No Trumpian victory story would be complete without summoning Bidenius Somnolentus back from the political catacombs.
His role in the drama is familiar.
Bidenius opened the gates.
Chaos entered.
Trumpius returned.
Order was restored.
The trumpets played.
The marble busts nodded approvingly.
It is government by Roman opera.
The actual realities of border enforcement, gang recruitment, migration patterns, federal jurisdiction, local policing, prosecution, and crime trends may be somewhat more complicated.
But complexity rarely survives contact with imperial branding.
In the official Trumpian chronicle, there are no shades of gray.
There is only Before Trumpius and After Trumpius.
One contains ruin.
The other contains very large press releases.
Crime Falls, the Laurel Wreath Expands
The royal court also points to falling violent crime as proof that the emperor's great security campaign is succeeding.
And naturally, within the Trumpian cosmology, every favorable trend eventually finds its way back to Trumpius himself.
Crime falls?
Trumpius.
Markets rise?
Trumpius.
A bald eagle lands successfully on a tree branch in Ohio?
Almost certainly Trumpius.
The imperial equation is elegant in its simplicity: criminals arrested, gangs disrupted, crime declining, therefore victory.
And victory requires celebration.
While agents, investigators, prosecutors, and local officers continue doing the difficult and often unglamorous work of policing and prosecution, the palace has already transformed their efforts into another chapter of the Great Trumpian Restoration.
There are no routine operations anymore.
Only historic offensives.
No enforcement teams.
Only legions.
No departmental statistics.
Only scrolls of conquest.
And no arrest tally too ordinary to be carried through Washington on an imaginary golden chariot.
That is the enduring principle of the Trumpius Imperium:
Where others see police work, Trumpius sees a campaign.
Where others see data, Trumpius sees destiny.
And should federal agents someday successfully impound an illegally parked vehicle outside a government building, the Casa Alba Imperialis will probably be ready within minutes:
“Greatest Victory Against Unlawfully Parked Chariots in the History of the United States.”
