ROMA MAR-A-LAGUS — Hear ye, hear ye, citizens of the greatest, most magnificent, most spectacular empire ever to exist! His Supreme Majesty, His Golden Greatness, and the undisputed Commander-in-Chief of All Things With Fins, Imperator Trumpius Caesar Maximus, has once again rewritten world history.

This time, not with a golden executive order, a magnificent marble monument, or another heroic battle against the treacherous forces of windmills.

No, citizens!

This time, the Emperor has achieved something infinitely more glorious.

FISH!

Yes, fish! Those slippery little creatures that have spent millions of years swimming around the oceans without realizing they should have been proud American patriots all along.

"Nobody has ever done more for fish than me!" proclaimed Trumpius Caesar, standing proudly before his enormous golden aquarium.

"The fish love me! Tremendous fish! Beautiful fish! Huge schools of fish! Some people say I'm the greatest friend of fish since Neptune. But Neptune never won an election like I did. Not even close!"

And thus began the glorious imperial era of PISCIS FIRST — MAKE FISH GREAT AGAIN!

The Oceans Shall Be American — And Every Fish Needs a Passport!

With the magnificent America First Seafood Strategy, Trumpius Caesar has officially decided that American fish must be Americans first and marine animals second.

Foreign shrimp, suspicious mussels, and potentially socialist sardines must finally understand who rules the waves.

To protect the patriotic purity of the imperial seafood supply, the Emperor announced a glorious new label:

"U.S. CAUGHT SEAFOOD!"

A voluntary label, of course.

For now.

Rumors circulating through the golden halls of Mar-a-Lagus suggest that every lobster entering American waters may soon be required to swear personal allegiance to Trumpius Caesar.

"I solemnly swear, upon my claws and delicious buttery destiny, to defend the Empire, reject communist seaweed, and bubble Republican whenever possible!"

One particularly stubborn Atlantic cod reportedly responded, "Blub, blub."

The Imperial Ministry of Truth immediately declared this an overwhelming endorsement of the Emperor's leadership.

"Even the fish are voting for me!" announced Trumpius.

"Unbelievable numbers! Nobody has ever seen numbers like these!"

The Golden Fish Billions of the Empire

Naturally, an ordinary president might simply modernize fishing ports, improve supply chains, and support domestic seafood production.

But Trumpius Caesar is no ordinary president.

He is a magnificent Emperor.

A golden visionary.

The Supreme Grand Admiral of Everything That Smells Like the Ocean.

His glorious administration announced billions in loan guarantees to support American meat and seafood processing.

The Emperor immediately declared the beginning of THE GOLDEN AGE OF IMPERIAL TUNA SUPREMACY!

"We're going to process so much fish that the fish themselves will come begging us to stop!" Trumpius proclaimed.

"And you know what we'll tell them? NO! WE'RE WINNERS! BEAUTIFUL WINNERS! THE BIGGEST WINNERS IN FISH HISTORY!"

Imperial Commerce Prefect Howardus Lutnickus Mercatorius enthusiastically praised the patriotic lobsters of Mainia, the legendary salmon of Alaskia, and the heroic shrimp of the Gulf of Trumpius.

Marine biologists, however, have been unable to confirm whether American salmon actually swim more patriotically than Canadian salmon.

A federal investigation into suspiciously liberal-looking halibut may be forthcoming.

Kennedyus and the Miraculous Healing Powers of the American Lobster

Next to address the Imperial Senate was the Empire's Supreme Health Augur, Robertus Kennedius Juniorius.

With the solemn expression of a man who had personally examined every shrimp in the Atlantic Ocean, Kennedyus explained that American fishermen operate under demanding environmental and sustainability regulations that can put them at a competitive disadvantage.

Trumpius Caesar instantly recognized the enormous political opportunity.

"So our fishermen have the greatest standards?" he asked.

"That means we have the HEALTHIEST FISH IN THE WORLD!"

The Emperor paused dramatically.

"Maybe even healthier than people! Very intelligent fish! Incredible immune systems! Probably all voting for me!"

Kennedyus nodded approvingly.

Behind the imperial podium, a nervous lobster attempted to complete a mandatory wellness questionnaire.

Unfortunately, the questionnaire required a signature.

The lobster had claws.

The Imperial Department of Health declared the matter a procedural success.

Rollinia Calls the Shrimp to Patriotic Victory!

Imperial Agriculture Matron Brookia Rollinia Agraria entered the Great Hall of Seafood Triumph wearing a magnificent red, white, and blue ceremonial robe.

Her message shook the very foundations of the Empire:

"AMERICAN SEAFOOD FIRST!"

Across the imperial provinces, officials began debating whether oysters, crabs, and octopuses should be equipped with miniature American flags.

Trumpius Caesar was particularly fascinated by the economic potential of octopuses.

"EIGHT ARMS!" he exclaimed.

"Imagine the productivity! Eight jobs at once! Tremendous workers! Better than any Democrat I've ever seen!"

An unfortunate economic adviser quietly mentioned that octopuses do not pay federal income taxes.

The adviser was immediately reassigned to the newly established Imperial Bureau of Unpatriotic Marine Life.

The Emperor then ordered a feasibility study into whether tuna could be taught to attend campaign rallies.

The Great Crustacean Victory Parade

From the distant shores of Alaskia to the proud harbors of Mainia, Carolinia, and Floridia, fishing organizations welcomed the Emperor's strategy.

They praised investments in fishing vessels, modern ports, refrigerated storage, seafood processing, and better access to financing.

These were serious concerns affecting real fishing communities.

Naturally, the Imperial Palace interpreted every supportive statement as undeniable proof that the entire ocean personally adored Trumpius Caesar.

"Look at these endorsements!" the Emperor shouted, waving an enormous golden parchment.

"Fishermen love me! Lobsters love me! Shrimp love me! Even the crabs love me, and those guys are very difficult people. Very negative attitudes. Always walking sideways!"

The Imperial Council of Economic Miracles, led by Kevinus Hassettus Prosperitus, confirmed that the welfare of American fishing communities had become a major royal priority.

Trumpius immediately demanded a victory parade.

Thousands of imaginary lobsters marched through the capital carrying tiny banners.

A military band performed the national anthem on ceremonial conch shells.

One particularly enthusiastic sea lion applauded.

The Imperial Press Office reported record-breaking approval ratings.

Nobody questioned the methodology.

Young Fishermen, Golden Boats, and Extremely Patriotic Ice

The next delegation came from the Imperial Alliance of Young Fishermen.

Its representatives welcomed the prospect of new opportunities for the next generation of American seafood workers.

Trumpius Caesar was delighted.

"Young fishermen! Fantastic! We need the youngest fishermen! The strongest nets! The biggest boats! Boats so beautiful that other boats will be jealous!"

Then came the Emperor's most revolutionary economic insight.

"We also need AMERICAN ICE!"

The imperial advisers exchanged puzzled glances.

"American ice?" whispered one senator.

"YES!" roared Trumpius.

"Why should American fish be stored in foreign ice? Nobody talks about this! It's a disgrace! Our ice will be colder, stronger, more patriotic! The greatest ice in history!"

The Imperial Treasury immediately began evaluating the possibility of printing the Emperor's golden profile on every ice cube.

Unfortunately, the design melted during its first presentation.

Trumpius called it a tremendous success.

Neptune Must Pay Tariffs!

As the sun descended over the glorious shores of Mar-a-Lagus, Trumpius Caesar stepped onto the balcony of his golden seaside palace.

Before him stretched the mighty Atlantic Ocean.

Behind him stood the entire Imperial Cabinet, several bewildered fishermen, and an extremely nervous lobster.

The Emperor raised a gold-plated plastic trident toward the heavens.

"For too long, the oceans have taken advantage of America!" he declared.

"Our fish! Our shrimp! Our beautiful lobsters! They've been swimming around freely for centuries, making terrible deals! DISASTROUS DEALS!"

The crowd gasped.

"But those days are OVER!"

The Emperor pointed dramatically toward the horizon.

"We're going to MAKE THE OCEANS GREAT AGAIN! The biggest oceans! The most beautiful oceans! Nobody has oceans like ours!"

Then came his final, magnificent decree.

"AND IF NEPTUNE WANTS TO KEEP RULING OUR WATERS, HE'S GOING TO HAVE TO PAY A TARIFF!"

Thunderous applause erupted throughout the palace.

The seagulls screamed.

The waves crashed.

The Atlantic remained diplomatically silent.

And somewhere beneath the surface, a small frightened herring quietly began swimming toward Canada.

He had heard that up there, at least for now, nobody required a fish to pledge allegiance to the President before becoming dinner.

Thus concludes the glorious chronicle of an Emperor who dreams not merely of ruling the world, but of personally commanding everything that swims beneath it.

AVE TRUMPIUS! MAKE FISH GREAT AGAIN!
