From the frozen shores of Alaska came news so monumental that even the glaciers briefly stopped cracking in order to listen respectfully:

Imperator Donaldus Trumpius Maximus Caesar has returned to the northernmost frontier of the Empire.

Alaska, that majestic land where moose enjoy more personal space than many European nations and winter occasionally needs a second winter coat, has once again been blessed with the golden presence of Caesar.

And naturally, Trumpius is not merely visiting Alaska.

No.

Trumpius is returning to his triumphs.

Because where ordinary rulers see roads, ports, pipelines, clinics, or military bases, Trumpius sees something much greater:

Monuments to his own historical inevitability.

Tax Relief by Imperial Decree

The Palace proudly announces that the working people of Alaska are now enjoying relief from the crushing burdens of taxation.

Tips receive favorable treatment.

Seniors receive new deductions.

Refunds arrive.

Rural communities receive investments.

In the language of ordinary government, one might say that laws were passed, programs were funded, and agencies administered them.

In the language of Trumpius Caesar, however, the explanation is much simpler:

Caesar personally reached into his imperial purse and placed several shiny coins into the toga of every fisherman, waiter, retiree, and patriotic citizen north of Canada.

Court officials are reportedly considering printing future tax refunds with a small inscription:

Financed personally by Trumpius Caesar. Complaints may be directed to the Senate. Praise should be delivered directly to the Palace.

Jobs, wages, and economic output have likewise been placed under imperial protection.

Apparently, Trumpius can now preserve employment simply by extending one hand toward the horizon.

The next logical Executive Order will presumably abolish Monday mornings.

Alaska Is Unlocked

But money alone cannot satisfy a Caesar.

An empire requires resources.

Oil.

Gas.

Copper.

Cobalt.

Gallium.

Germanium.

And essentially anything else that shines, burns, powers a fighter jet, or can be extracted from a mountain by machinery roughly the size of Rhode Island.

Trumpius has therefore begun opening Alaska like an enormous imperial supply cabinet.

Areas previously restricted are once again being considered for development.

Roads will lead toward mining districts.

Pipelines will cross vast wilderness.

Power infrastructure will expand.

Foreign investors arrive carrying promises measured in billions and smiles measured in press releases.

At the Imperial Court, officials are already considering a more appropriate name for Alaska:

Provincia Petrolia Maxima.

Environmentalists may object that wilderness occasionally possesses value even when nobody is drilling holes into it.

Such thinking, however, is generally considered dangerously philosophical inside the Trumpius Empire.

The Mountain Receives an Imperially Approved Name

Caesar has also resolved one of North America's most urgent strategic problems:

What should a mountain be called?

Other governments may worry about wars, inflation, infrastructure, technological competition, or debt.

But a truly great emperor understands that civilizations rise and fall according to one critical question:

Is the mountain labeled correctly?

The continent's tallest peak has therefore regained the name favored by Trumpius.

Cartographers may finally sleep.

Geologists can return to geology.

The tectonic plates have been notified.

The Fish Are Now Protected by Empire

Alaska's fisheries have also received the attention of Caesar.

Groundfish, halibut, and assorted northern creatures may continue participating in the American economy on schedule.

Naturally, the Palace presents this as yet another personal triumph of Trumpius.

Whether the fish themselves were consulted remains unclear.

Probably not.

They are currently neither taxpayers nor residents of a swing state.

If that ever changes, expect an immediate:

Executive Order on Extremely Patriotic Halibut.

Under the proposed doctrine, every fish caught in Alaskan waters may be required to swim America First before entering the national seafood supply.

Veterans, Clinics, and Imperial Compassion

Some of the investments described by the administration concern matters considerably more serious.

Veterans receive new services.

Community organizations receive support.

Medical facilities are expanded.

Infrastructure serving former members of the armed forces is improved.

Yet inside the Trumpius Empire, even a clinic cannot simply be a clinic.

It must become proof that Caesar himself personally watches over every former legionary from a golden balcony several thousand miles away.

Reception desks may soon receive new plaques:

This medical visit was made possible by Trumpius Caesar, Guardian of Veterans, Conqueror of Bureaucracy, Defender of Waiting Rooms.

The Great Fortress Boom of the North

Then comes the military.

And suddenly the imperial scroll becomes very, very large.

Barracks.

Supply complexes.

Training centers.

Runways.

Maintenance facilities.

Munitions facilities.

Dining facilities.

Design projects.

Engineering projects.

And, magnificently, even infrastructure related to thawing coal.

That deserves recognition.

Ancient emperors built triumphal arches.

Trumpius apparently builds Coal Thaw Sheds.

History evolves.

But the greatest northern vision of all bears a name that sounds as though the Pentagon and an amusement park jointly launched an energy drink:

Fighter Town USA.

The proposed transformation would make Alaska an even more important Arctic military stronghold.

New facilities would rise.

Personnel would arrive.

Families would follow.

Private-sector jobs would appear.

Airfields would expand.

The Imperial Court is almost certainly already planning the opening ceremony.

Trumpius will stand before the cameras.

Fighter jets will roar overhead.

Generals will salute.

Flags will wave.

And somewhere nearby, a loyal official will declare that nobody has ever seen a runway so long, so strong, so beautiful, or so incredibly runway-like.

Even Crime Retreats Before Trumpius

The Palace also reports improving crime numbers in parts of Alaska.

Violence falls.

Criminal offenses decline in certain communities.

To the Imperial Chroniclers, only one explanation is possible:

The criminals have heard about Trumpius.

Upon learning that Caesar is coming north, lawbreakers apparently abandon their criminal careers, close their underground operations, return stolen property, and apply for jobs in pipeline construction.

If the experiment succeeds, the Justice Department may eventually eliminate conventional policing altogether and simply install giant portraits of Trumpius at dangerous intersections.

Crime would then presumably flee into Canada.

Alaska First. America First. Trumpius Firstest.

And so the imperial travel proclamation reaches its unavoidable conclusion.

Alaska prospers.

Alaska drills.

Alaska fishes.

Alaska builds.

Alaska arms.

Alaska receives.

And Alaska watches as Trumpius gathers every tax break, pipeline, barracks, clinic, road, fishery, mineral deposit, power line, runway, and mountain name into one gigantic monument to his own presidency.

The political choice, according to the Palace, could hardly be clearer.

On one side:

Trumpius.

Lower taxes.

Energy.

Military bases.

Pipelines.

Jobs.

Patriotic halibut.

On the other:

Higher taxes.

Restrictions.

Chaos.

Open borders.

And, worst of all, mountains carrying names that have not received imperial approval.

For in the worldview of Trumpius Caesar, Alaska may still be called the Last Frontier.

But under his reign, one eternal rule applies:

Where others see a frontier, Trumpius sees a stage. Where others govern, he orders marble. And wherever one square foot of America remains unnamed, unbranded, or unclaimed, there is still room for TRUMPIUS.
